About Nancy Zanetta and "The Sporting Touch"
I live and train with my horses in the lovely city of Magnolia, Texas. I received my certification in Equine/Canine Sports Massage Therapy through Equissage in Round Hill Virginia. To obtain this certification I took 50 hours of class room and practical training under the direct guidance of Mary Schreiber, the founder of Equissage. I was able to pass my final practical exam while in Viriginia and saw positive results in the first horse I massaged during my final exam. The owner was very excited and told me her horse just seemed so happy when she rode her later that day. I was hooked!
I have been passionate about horses for over 40 years. I feel so blessed to be working with them and have the joy of owning three of my own. Even more fun, I'm getting to compete in the exciting sport of eventing under the expertise of Kristy Limon of Excel Eventing in Magnolia, Texas. I understand that horses are much deeper than many would think them to be. I love the opportunity to give back to them and to help "get inside their heads". They are marvelous creatures and I respect their diversity in size, nature and training. I'm extremely patient and have techniques to help work with the more difficult clients with safety for all being the utmost of importance.
I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and discuss the benefits of sports massage for your particular horse or dog. Ranch calls are customary but you are more then welcome to bring your horse or dog to me as well. I am available for competitions, clinics and camps as well.
